Lycra changes how a fly mask behaves. Instead of sitting on the head as a separate structure, it moves with the horse, which means less rubbing at the cheek and far less chance of it being pulled off against a fence rail.
The UV protection matters more than most people expect. Pink-skinned muzzles and light faces burn, and a horse on summer turnout is out there for eight hours or more. This gives you insect cover and sun cover in the same piece of kit.
Details
- Stretch Lycra, close comfort fit
- UV protection for sensitive faces
- Stays put through turnout and rolling
- Machine washable
Particularly worth it for greys, paints and anything with a bald face.
Fulfillment note: This product is fulfilled by Zendrop and ships directly from their warehouse. Please allow standard handling and transit times as outlined in our shipping policy.
