Knitted mesh is the middle ground between a flimsy net and a stiff structured mask. It holds enough shape to keep the fabric off the eye, but it drapes rather than clamps, so a horse who objects to gear on his face tends to accept it faster.
Mosquitoes are the ones people underestimate. They work at dusk, long after the daytime flies have quit, and they go for the thin skin around the eyes and muzzle. If your horses come in from evening turnout with swollen faces, this is the fix.
Details
- Breathable knitted mesh
- Covers the face without pressing on the eye
- Effective against mosquitoes and midges
- Rinse clean and air dry
Introduce it in the stable first, not in the field. Most objections disappear after a couple of quiet minutes.
Fulfillment note: This product is fulfilled by Zendrop and ships directly from their warehouse. Please allow standard handling and transit times as outlined in our shipping policy.
