A hood covers what a mask cannot. It carries protection back over the ears, down the throatlatch and along the upper neck, which is where biting insects settle once the face is defended.
The fabric is chosen to breathe, because a hood that traps heat will do more harm than the flies ever would. On a still summer afternoon your horse should be able to stand in this without breaking a sweat under it.
Details
- Full head and upper neck coverage
- Breathable insect-resistant fabric
- Protects ears and throatlatch
- Machine washable
Worth having for horses with sweet itch or anyone who reacts badly to midge bites along the crest.
Fulfillment note: This product is fulfilled by Zendrop and ships directly from their warehouse. Please allow standard handling and transit times as outlined in our shipping policy.
